OUR CAREGIVERS
Our California caregivers are trained and experienced in the specialized needs of clients with neurological disorders and chronic illnesses such as alzheimer’s, parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancer. This specialized training allows our caregivers to provide the highest quality of home care for Neurological Disorders and Chronic Illness.
Our professional home care aides include:
Certified Nurses Assistants (CNA), and Certified Home Health Aids (CHHA)
Trained in acute and chronic care and certified by the state of california. Appropriate where personal care and mobility assistance are high.
Home Care Aides
Assistance with personal care, range of motion exercise, meal preparation, and hospital sitting, appropriate where personal care and mobility assistance are moderate.
Companion Homemakers
Companionship and recreation, safety supervision, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Appropriate where personal care and mobility assistance is low.

Parkinson’s and other Movement Disorders
Parkinson’s disease is a chronic, progressive, neurological disease that mainly affects movement. People with parkinson’s disease often exhibit a “shuffling” gait, tremor of the arms and legs when they are resting, muscle stiffness, and stooped posture. Some individuals also have cognitive problems. Personal care, medication management, and exercise must all be taken into consideration with the care of clients with parkinson’s disease.
